And so it begins...

Luke had his first T-Ball game last Saturday. That was pretty funny to watch. Luke wasn't all that crazy about standing in the field but he really liked to hit the ball and with the help of the coaches usually found his way around them. :) I think that was the most entertaining part was watching all the kids try to get around the bases. We were a little apprehensive about this season because his team is mostly 4 and 5 year olds and Luke is still 3 but we thought he did a great job and can't wait for the rest of the season.

Lining up before the game. Little boys and baseball uniforms are too cute.
Dropping his bat to run to 1st base.

Very excited that he made it to 1st.
When Luke caught his first ball in the field he got so excited and held up the ball and said, "I did it" and looked over at all of us. We were laughing telling him to throw it to first. Silly guy!

My Little Drummer Boy

Luke is in love with playing instruments. One of his absolute favorites though is the drums. I can only tolerate so much drum playing so he only gets his drumsticks one or two times a day. The other day I came in the living room and saw that he had set up his own drum set with things around the house. He was using the Cat in the Hat book as the cymbal. He was in his own dream world. Luke, maybe one day I will be a cool mom and set up Daddy's old drum set for you to play on but for now, I would like to keep my sanity so keep on using your imagination. :)

Memorial Day in Breckenridge

For Memorial Day Weekend we went to Trish's Grandmother's lake house in Breckenridge. It was such a neat place and we had a great time. The guys were pretty much fishing non stop so John was lovin it! At the end of the dock there was a fishing hole inside where you could fish from. Luke liked to fish but it was frustrating for John at times. I think he only had to fish Luke's pole out of the water five times. Ha! I on the other hand was just there to watch and rescue. John had to run up to the house and told me to watch the kids at the dock. They both had their life jackets on and Kate was standing right next to me. She tripped and fell overboard. Remember, she had her life vest on but I panicked and threw the fishing pole that was in my hand in the water, jumped over the railing into the water to save my little girl. At the time that seemed like the best idea. Looking back, I probably could have just bent down and picked her up without hurling myself into the water but I guess I just had that Mom adrenaline. Jared saw the whole thing and was laughing at my super human strength. Of course Kate was fine and after she stopped crying kept laughing saying, "I fell in da water!" Hopefully this won't scar her from swimming this summer.

The Mosley Boys up early trying to catch some fish

One of John's catches

Robyn and her daughter Anna. She caught the most fish out of anyone. I think the fish liked the Barbie Pole the best. At one point all of the men were fishing with the kids poles trying to catch fish like the kids were.

Trish and her shades. She had eye surgery two days before and was still hurting. She had to wear those sunglasses outside and inside.

I caught the girls sitting on the couch in their life jackets. I thought they looked so cute.

Western Heritage Parade

We took the kids to see the Western Heritage Parade and boy did they love it. They loved waving at all the people. Kate especially loved it. She was very zoned in and waved at everything with intensity. She STILL talks about the horses. She has always kind of had a thing for horses. Maybe I've got myself a cowgirl. I grew up on a farm and definitely would not call myself a cowgirl so maybe she will fulfill that role and make Coach (my dad) a happy man. :)

Girls Weekend to Gruene

We had a girls weekend in Gruene with lots of shopping, good food, and girl talk. It was so nice to be able to hang out with all of these ladies all weekend. A special thanks to our husbands for giving us this weekend and also to Trish who planned it all!

Robyn, Trish and I in front of the river. We stayed in a bed and breakfast that was on the river. The same one that we went to on Spring Break.

Somebody got the idea to lay out all of our purchases after our day of shopping and take a picture. We definitely shopped till we dropped at the outlet malls in San Marcos!

Crazy glasses.

What an awesome weekend spent with special friends!
